The Clinical Practices of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is looking for a Histotechnologist I to join their busy team!  


The Histotechnologist I is responsible for performing routine histology, duties include but not limited to: embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, special staining, filing blocks and slides, equipment log maintenance, change the H&E stainer as needed, change reagents on the processors as needed. Prepare unstained recut slides for Immunohistochemistry as needed and any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Manager that is conducive to the successful daily and overall operation of the laboratory. Possess basic computer skills to include but not limited to word, excel and data entry.

Minimum Requirements:  High School Diploma or GED required.  Histology competent and HT Certification eligibility a plus
