You will receive a sign-on bonus totaling the amount of $7500 over a period of two years of employment. You will receive the first installment of $2500 after successful completion of your 180-day introductory period. You will receive the second installment of $2500 at one-year of employment. You will receive the final installment of $2500 at two years of employment. Please note that each of the payments will be subject to payroll taxes and withholdings.
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Performing appropriately requested analysis of laboratory on all types of laboratory specimens
produces and documents accurate laboratory results for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Must adhere to Penn Medicine’s policies and procedures and conforms to all safety practices. Maintains the required up to date documents required by various accreditation agencies. Maintains the confidentiality of health information on all patients.
Minimum Requirements:
Medical Technology or equivalent discipline required
A minimum of 2 years hospital based laboratory experience preferred
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
Broad knowledge of various laboratory methods and techniques, quality assurance, in addition to PC and LIS knowledge required
