Summary:

Supports the entity's finance department by ensuring the data systems are accurate and managed with integrity. The Revenue Integrity Specialist uses Epic and outside reporting agencies to monitor and manage data relevant to operations and clinical effectiveness and quality. 

    Responsibilities:

    Monitors reports using Penn Chart custom reports routinely and frequently that prevent transmission of OASIS and HIS data sets to CMS QIES system. Modifies reports and data to catch any changing requirements.

    Transmits multiple times per week OASIS and HIS data sets through QIES systems.

    Tracks and ensures DOH and Joint Commission Compliance with regards to Out of Sequence Errors, Late Rates, and OASIS not received within 30 days.

    Manages SHP system, users, and access as well as utilizing system to produce enhanced reports around OASIS compliance.

    Prepares and coordinates statistical reports on the results of utilization reviews, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement plans along with transmission of Press Ganey data. Provides support to clinical leadership during surveys for key reports needed from QIES system.

    Provides back up and assistance to entity's finance department and executive management team for key financial and operational data.


    Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures

    Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

      Education or Equivalent Experience:

      - Bachelors Degree and 3+ years healthcare related experience
