Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Part Time Evening Unit Secretary for Wing 1 Princeton House!

Summary:

  • Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various activities and related support services under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Unit Secretary completes a comprehensive array of clerical functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of Surgical Schedule, included but not limited to arrangement for patient transportation, communication of scheduling with the individuals in charge, gathering information for Emergent cases. Data Entry Responsible for the ordering / maintaining of office supplies Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborates with other caregivers/staff, within and outside the Department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.

Credentials:

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Medical assistant certification preferred.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Related Work Experience

    • Clerical experience in a medical/ psychiatric setting preferred.
