The Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center has a Per Diem Radiation Therapy opening.
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Working under the direction of the Radiation Therapy Supervisor, working with clinical physicists, dosimetrist and other therapists as part of a treatment team.
Being proficient in many departmental functions. Accurately and safely delivering of daily radiation treatments.
Achieving proficiency by various rotations on all treatment units, plus being adequately exposed to CT simulation.
Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, polices, and procedures
Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
Required to understand/operate treatment machines/simulators to deliver safe and accurate treatments and treatment planning
Experience operating both a Siemen’s CT/SIM as well as a Halcyon treatment machine preferred
Familiarity with the process required for CT Simulation
1-3 years’ Radiation Therapist experience preferred
Proficient computer skills required
Working knowledge of EPIC, Outlook, and Aria systems preferred
High School or equivalent level of education required
Certificate of Completion from Approved Radiation Therapy Technology Program required
ARRT or Board Eligibility required
American Heart Association CPR preferred

This per diem role is expected to travel and cover the following sites if there is a need:
Radiation Oncology- Penn Medicine Cherry Hill, Radiation Oncology- Doylestown,
Radiation Oncology- Chestnut Hill, Radiation Oncology- Valley Forge,
Radiation Oncology- Pennsylvania Hospital, Radiation Oncology- Radnor, and Radiation Oncology- Chester County
