There is a opening in the Pharmacy department at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for a Purchasing and Inventory Control Technician.

Position Description:
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining 340B compliance at all facilities serviced by the Pharmacy Department
Daily maintenance of the 340B software including Sentry and Sentrex
Maintaining up to date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes
Conducting quality assurance audits for 340B databases
Participating in external audits, providing recommendations for 340B opportunities and WAC reductions
Working with key stakeholders in resolving issues related to 340B process while providing direct support to the pharmacy management team, pharmacy business manager, and purchasing technicians
Monitoring Retail Pharmacy Orders to minimize over purchasing
Verifying Ineligible Retail Rx
Reducing WAC purchase and increase 340B purchases by ensuring proper purchasing procedures and database accuracy
Performing duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you meet these qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education required
Pharmacy purchasing, storeroom, or Technician experience required
Bachelors degree preferred
340B experience preferred
CPHT Pharm Tech certification
Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills, strong quantitative and analytical abilities required
Experience in developing and presenting analytics reports required
Ability to communicate technical information and ideas required
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data in order to coordinate the preparation of financial records required
Demonstrated financial management skills required
