Summary:
- The Doylestown location has an opening for a Clinical Nurse 2. The Clinical Nurse 2 will function as a critical member of the health care team who consistently demonstrates and practices within the organizational professional practice model to demonstrate the core values and clinical competencies of Penn Medicine to ensure the highest level of patient care. This position cancer or radiation nursing experience is preferred. The position is full-time, and flexibility is essential as patients come first.
- At Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology, the RN plays a critical role in the planning and delivering of cancer care.
The RN should demonstrate advanced cancer care knowledge, strong assessment skills and can educate patients on their care and treatment, while applying clinical leadership and problem-solving skills. The Clinical Nurse 2 complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies and maintains an expert level of knowledge and skill with technical procedures. - This position requires PA RN license is required
Credentials:
- Current Pennsylvania License as a Registered Nurse
- 3 years of Oncology or Radiation Oncology experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Oncology Nurse Certification or ability to obtain preferred
- Graduate of a BSN program
