Posting Description

Penn Medicine is seeking a full time inpatient psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a position at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Cedar Avenue, which is located at  501 S 54th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143.  The Nurse Practitioner will primarily care for patients on the Detox Unit, and will also occasionally cover in the ED.  The position will be daytime hours (i.e. 9a-5p) Monday-Friday, with the option to pick up weekend rounding for additional compensation.  

Minimum Requirements

The requirements for the position are as follows:

• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and possess an MSN with licensure as a certified registered nurse practitioner
• ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• DEA license
• BLS & ACLS
• Three (3) years of experience as a psychiatry nurse practitioner.
