Our optician facilitates an excellent experience for the Penn Optical customer by delivering high quality care and individualized service. Responsibilities: providing direct customer sales; participating in the selection of merchandise and inventory; managing all cash sales and insurance transactions per UPHS and departmental policies; and managing all aspects of accounts receivable.

Licensure is not required of an Optician in Pa. Certification by professional organization is required within one year of employment. Bachelor degree preferred. Business, accounting, and/or finance coursework is a plus. Three to five years experience as an optician required.
