The Heart and Vascular Pavilion at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a PRN EKG Technologist.
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Processing EKGs on the MUSE system by attaching orders and then putting them into the appropriate physician’s in-box for reading.
Activating orders in Sunrise when necessary.
Alerting physicians immediately to any EKG that has a critical tracing.
Placing Holter monitors on patients and processing Holter reports after they are returned.
Helping in the maintenance of the EKG machines.

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications
The ability to read a 12-lead EKG required
Experience in operating EKG equipment and applying a 12-lead EKG to patients required
Experience with MUSE system preferred.
Good computer skills are a necessity.
Good communication skills are required.
