The Blood Bank at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center has a Medical Lab Tech opportunity.

Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Performing appropriately requested analysis of laboratory on all types of laboratory specimens, produces and documents accurate laboratory results for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Must adhere to Penn Medicine’s policies and procedures and conforms to all safety practices. Maintain the required up to date documents required by various accreditation agencies. Maintains the confidentiality of health information on all patients.

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
Associate Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent discipline required
2-3 years of hospital based laboratory experience preferred.
Skill Requirements: Broad knowledge of various laboratory methods and techniques, quality assurance, in addition to PC and LIS knowledge.
