Summary:
- We are looking for a dynamic Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP or PA-C) to join our Penn Medicine team managing the care of our Neurologic patients at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
This role enhances clinical best practice through a team model where advanced practice providers (APP) collaborate with Neurosurgeons, Neurocritical Care physicians and our multidisciplinary consult services. With a high level of autonomy and expert skill our Neuroscience APPs direct the clinical management of the critically ill and injured (TBI, brain tumor, SCI, stroke) on the floor and in the ICU ensuring continuity of care for patients, their families and our hospital staff. Professionalism and leadership opportunities are weaved into daily practice. Our APP integrates education, research, leadership, and consultation into practice through nursing and resident instruction, clinical trial & quality project participation, and hospital committee membership.
Credentials:
- Master’s prepared Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Pennsylvania licensure and certification as an ACNP or PA-C
50-50 Day/Night Rotation. 1 Weekend/ Month and Holiday Rotation. 13 hour shifts.
