The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Central Receiving Technician.
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Receiving all specimens into the laboratory
Verifying arrival and proper transport
Monitoring and evaluating all necessary QC, QA and repair records required by accreditation agencies
Performing specimen processing in an efficient manner
Assuring work flows and test turnaround time within in the established limits for stat and routine specimens

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Medical Information Systems and healthcare experience preferred
