Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Masters Physician Assistant to work full time in their Cardiovascular Department-outpatient clinic.

The team consists of 6 NPs/PAs across the outpatient offices, 40+ physicians
and Greater than Outpatient visits annually

The cardiology practice at Penn Presbyterian has been awarded gold honors for the care of heart failure patients.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, while providing quality care across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team, will provide care for our patients in the ambulatory setting.There will be a combination of independent practice as well as collaborative clinics with physician partners. This position requires a high level of independence but is well supported with a collaborative and multi-disciplinary practice model.

As the Clinical Coordinator, this advanced practice provider will be responsible for providing clinical care to heart failure patients in the outpatient setting in collaboration with the heart failure team. The APP will be responsible for the coordination of services provided by the outpatient APPs in the cardiology department.

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible to promote organizational values of patient and visitor satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for all their families, visitors, and other employees. Cares for patients in all age groups from young adults through geriatrics. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients served.

Nurse Practitioner or Master's Physician Assistant. Pennsylvania licensed required.

Minimum of 2 years Cardiology experience.

Hours: M-F (5-8hr shifts); no weekends/holidays
