Summary: 

Functions as a first line interface with patients, physicians and peers in the successful filing and retrieving of radiology films and reports.

    Responsibilities: 

    a. Responsible for the safe handling of equipment.

    b. Understands and practices proper use of all equipment

    c. Demonstrates knowledge of troubleshooting.

    d. Cleans and maintains daily maintenance of equipment.

    e. Demonstrates proper use of the Radiology Information and PACS systems.

      Credentials: 

      Efficiently operates the RIS and PACS systems. Possesses superior phone skills

        Education or Equivalent Experience:  

        High school diploma or GED required. Demonstrated data entry skills. Knowledge of medical terminology
