Position Description:

Penn Medicine OnDemand (PMOD), a virtual care telemedicine practice, is seeking an experienced, Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to provide on-demand primary care services to patients of the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). The per diem CRNP will work a blend of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. The position is currently remote but eventually the PMOD CRNP's will provide telehealth services from a centralized location, as yet to be determined. Candidates must be comfortable with this in-person requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a NLN- approved school of nursing
  • Completion of an approved Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner program with a MSN- Family Medicine, Adult, or Adult-Gero
  • Requires National Board Certification
  • Requires Child Protection Clearances
  • Requires active nursing license, both Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as New Jersey. Within (6) months of hire the candidate must achieve equivalent state licensure in Delaware and Maryland (see details below).

i. State of New Jersey, Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse

ii. State of Maryland, Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

iii. State of Delaware, Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

  • The candidate must successfully complete credentialing and payer enrollment as established through the University of Pennsylvania Health System’s Office of Medical Affairs.
