We are seeking a team oriented ARRT and MRI certified MRI Manager for one of the largest MRI departments in the country. This manager will be supervising three (3) locations which has some of the most state of the art equipment in the country.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • The MRI Radiology Manager oversees the daily operations of HUP MRI, which is a 24/7 department. This includes employee scheduling, staffing, payroll and employee management.
    Additional responsibilities include protocol development, policy development and improvement, image quality control, PACS support, and patient satisfaction/service recovery.
    Strong UBCL believer and overseer.
    Staff meetings, education and communication between nursing and radiologists are also an integral part of this position.
    Coordination of outpatient, inpatient and emergency room exams and schedules is done daily.
    Responsibilities also include the increase in department efficiency through process improvement/evaluation

  • Credentials:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • ARRT and MRI Certified
  • Minimum of 5 years technical experience in a hospital setting required.
  • All RT skills associated with modality required.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Graduate of an ARRT accredited MRI program
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science or Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in modality and 3+ years management experience preferred
