Penn Presbyterian is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to work with our team.
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Producing quality radiographic examinations on a continuous basis using proper techniques, positioning and anatomical labeling
Practice proper radiation protection techniques (wear film badge at all times,
wear body aprons and thyroid shields when necessary, shields patients, collimates films and avoids re-rays)
Prepares supplies and patient for radiographic examination
Ensures a clean, orderly, area with adequate supplies to perform examinations
Instructs radiologic technology students with proper procedures and techniques
Maintains equipment in good working condition
May perform routine office duties such as filing films, keeping records, and processing films when necessary

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you meet these qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent level of education required
A graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program required
Expectations of this role are to be familiar with new techniques as they become available
Must be ARRT eligible and registered within one year of hire date
