Penn Presbyterian Medical Center's Medical Imaging Department is seeking a MRI Technical Assistant

Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Working knowledge of hospital IDXRAD, scheduling IR, and MRI procedures as they relate to the information required at time of outpatient care
Supporting MRI / Nuclear Medicine by scheduling all outpatient MRI and Nuclear medicine exams
Entering of patient date information into the RIS scheduling system
Assisting in MRI procedures as back up support as needed
Providing relief coverage on various shifts when assigned or needed
Working within and maintaining HIPPA guidelines
Maintaining a professional appearance
Demonstrating a high degree of customer service skills
Prioritizing one's own work with minimal involvement of supervision

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology required
• 2+ years experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills required
• Excellent verbal and written skills required
