Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Provides a high level of clinical expertise and critical thinking and be accountable for supervision of staff and departmental activities during the shift of responsibility
Manage patient care assignments, various operational needs and designated supervisory duties
Departmental performance improvement, staffing, performance evaluations, staff education and enforcement and guidance of policies and processes
Participates in interdisciplinary teams and represents and supports Respiratory Care staff.
Minimum Requirements:

A graduate of or hold a certificate of completion from a JRCRTE accredited two year program in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor Degree preferred. Five (5) years experience in field including two (2) years experience preferred in Respiratory Care management.
Must be a PA State Licensed Respiratory Therapist and be credentialed with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Must possess the ability to exercise independent and critical thinking when managing issues associated with the department.
