Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is looking for a Phlebotomist to join their team.

Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Performing appropriately requested processing on all types of laboratory specimens
Performing phlebotomy for adolescents through older adult patients for diagnostic testing
Processing a variety of clinical specimens for diagnostic laboratory testing and accessing associated records
Adhering to Penn Medicine’s policies and procedures
Conforming to all safety practices
Maintaining confidentiality of health information on all patients

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent level of education required
Phlebotomy training and experience in hospital setting preferred
Prior experience in hospital laboratory receiving area preferred
Excellent Phlebotomy skills are required
A broad knowledge of laboratory tests and experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology or equivalent in phlebotomy preferred
Prior experience with Cerner Millennium and EPIC APM preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, skills, and creative abilities
