*** This position is primarily a remote role with occasional on-site work needed (1-2 times per month) ***

Job Summary:

  • Under the leadership of the Director of Government Reimbursement and the Reimbursement Manager, the Reimbursement Analyst will principally support the timely completion of legislatively mandated hospital cost reports. In addition, the Reimbursement Analyst will work closely with the Senior Reimbursement Specialist on preparing data to support the monthly financial statement process as it relates to Hospital-Based Clinics. The position will also need to work closely with the Office of Graduate Medical Education in supporting the accurate compilation of resident FTE reports. The individual in this role must have strong data analytical skills, an ability to learn and adapt to new software as well as the ability to work independently on special projects and analytics.
  • Key areas of responsibility include:
    • Preparation of data to support monthly entity financial statements
    • Preparation and analysis of data to support Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports


    • Bachelor’s degree (Required), preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
    • Third-party governmental reimbursement experience (including compliance analysis and adherence reporting, revenue budgeting and cost reporting) is preferred).

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills
    • Ability to adapt to new software solutions
    • Good Organizational skills
    • Effective Communication skills
