Organization Development and Learning Intern

Hybrid position, 1500 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA

Position Description:

Penn Medicine Academy (PMA) provides organizational development services that support the executive leadership team and employees. The Intern will support influential project-based assignments in the areas of:

  • Change Management
  • Enhancing Patient Experience
  • Performance Improvement
  • Talent Management/Leadership Development
  • Workforce Development

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with PMA service owners to accomplish project scope
  • Perform analysis of qualitative data
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of retreats
  • Prepare presentations
  • Assist with project management
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Accompany team members to sites for meetings or events

This is a unique learning opportunity that will provide healthcare knowledge, on the job experience and personal development.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a Master's degree program
  • Previous work experience, preferably in a corporate environment required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses initiative, organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Possesses the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment

Additional Information:

  • This is a 12-month, full time Internship and is not eligible for benefits.
  • The Internship is available immediately with a flexible start date.
  • People who have completed a Master's degree are eligible for a Fellowship.
