The department of medicine at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center has an Administrative Coordinator opportunity
The Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Medicine will report to the Associate Executive Director of Service Lines and provide administrative support to the Residency Program Director and the Director of Hospitalist Medicine. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all administrative functions for the Department of Medicine to include ordering supplies, calendar maintenance, coordinating hospital and departmental orientation for the Residents, coordination of conferences to include location and catering and working with the CME office. Accountabilities • Manage daily flow of the office activities. • Expense oversight including recording keeping, ordering functions and invoice submissions • Provide assistance to resident for on boarding (parking, badges, meal stipends and hospital orientation). • Participation in UPHS GME program and PPMC implementation of policies and procedures. • Coordinate approval and distribution of house staff PPMC regularly scheduled CME series. • Provides administrative support including calendar management, meeting planning, support of general office activities. • Oversight and management of the Resident call rooms and workspaces. • Management and ordering of department of medicine residents' office supplies. • Management and ordering of daily residents catering and meals. • Development of resident team sheets for medicine teams and nursing units.

H.S. Diploma or equivalent level of education and 5+ years of administrative experience
a Bachelors degree in Business or related field
The incumbent will possess a high level of verbal and written skills and computer literacy.
The position will require sophisticated problem solving and decision making skills as well as the ability to work with all levels of staff.
Works cooperatively and effectively within the scope of contacts in order to meet/exceed team and organizational goals.
