Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Review all outpatient prescriptions and compounds for accuracy. 

Counsel patients on both prescription and OTC medications. 

Assist patients within our transitions of care program, myPennPharmacy discharge program. 

Oversee pharmacy technicians and students and ensures accuracy of their work prior to dispensing.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (preferred from an accredited College of Pharmacy 
  • Current pharmacy license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania required prior to start date (required)
