Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Penn Presbyterian is seeking a motivated full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our group of 12 Advanced Practice Providers who work closely with Hospitalist attendings on night shift. Responsibilities include caring for two subsets of patients: inpatients who have been admitted and stabilized, and Observation patients who are admitted to the service from the Emergency Department. The APP will ensure appropriate care during overnight hours and will complete admissions with input from night attending. The APP will work in close collaboration with their fellow advanced practice providers, Hospitalist attendings, consultants and other ancillary staff to manage their care and safely hand-off patients when appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: The qualified candidate must be Acute Care Certified Adult CRNP or PA-C with a Masters. Candidates must be licensed as a CRNP or PA-C in Pennsylvania and much have current ACLS certification. Prior to employment, the APP must be reviewed by the Credentials Commitee and approved by the Medical Board.
Additional Information: 7 shifts per 2 week pay period and the shifts are 10-12 hours.
