The Department of Medicine has an Administrative Assistant Opportunity.

This position will support the Chief of Medicine at PPMC

Position Description:
Under the direction from the Associate Executive Director:
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Organizing, managing and completing business services requirements for each administrator
Completing and processing business services reports
Managing vendor payments and relations
Ordering and maintaining department supplies
Scheduling meetings
Coordinating and managing Human Resources administrative requirements
Providing coaching and feedback to colleagues
Identifying opportunities for improvement and taking responsibility for broader initiatives
Responding to patient, third party, and corporate needs in a timely and efficient manner
Transcribing dictation and typing final copies of letters and documents accurately
Preparing draft letters and answering correspondence as required
Organizing and assembling materials for meetings
Producing special charts, proposals, and meeting agendas using a variety of software products
Maintaining calendar and appointment schedules

Minimum Requirements:
Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education required
2 or more years Administrative Assistant experience required
Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and professional behavior required
Ability to interact with all levels of clinical and administrative professionals required
Demonstrated coursework with Medical Terminology required
Essential understanding of computer data entry in a Windows environment required
Proficiency in all Microsoft office Excel, Word, and Power Point applications required
Availability for rotating shifts and schedule flexibility required
Professional appearance is expected at all times
