  • General Summary Statement

    Performs a variety of duties related to the production and assembly of hot food

    Must demonstrate advanced cooking and reheating skills.

    Cleaning and sanitation as required

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Production of stock and cream based soups.
    • Advanced knife skills in slicing, chopping.
    • Ability to produce consistent sauces and gravies as required.
    • Advanced roasting, sautéing, and grilling skills.
    • Ability to process, store and thaw food in compliance with local and federal regulations.
    • Daily sanitation and cleaning of work stations.
    • Record temperatures with electronic device for patient food services, if the device or the system is down then use paper documentation for temperatures.

Credentials:

  • CFP ServSafe Food Protection (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years Food production experience, preferably in a health care institution
