Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.Summary: Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor is an individual trained to process a variety of clinical specimens for diagnostic laboratory testing, and access associated records. Individual will be trained in hospital procedures and have previously completed a structured Phlebotomy program in performing routine vein punctures and arterial draws from paged aged infant/newborn through older adult.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. One-year phlebotomy training and experience in a hospital inpatient or outpatient setting preferred. Experience with EPIC and/or Cerner preferred. At least 1 year Laboratory experience is preferred in the inpatient or ambulatory setting.
