Summary: Under the direction of the Manager Regulatory Compliance, the Coordinator's primary function will be to assist the manager to ensure that Pennsylvania Hospital and mapped entities are compliant with all regulatory standards. The Coordinator will support the Manager to guide improvement, facilitate mock surveys and develop plans for sustaining the improvements and compliance. The Coordinator assists with onsite surveys across the campus, provides education, conducts tracer activity, and accepts other duties as assigned. The Coordinator strives to become an expert resource to the Pennsylvania Hospital community.

    Accountabilities:

    Provide direct support to the manager/leaders of various departments striving for continuous readiness 

    - Coordinates actual and mock survey activity; complete tracer activity as directed. 

    - Ensure compliance through initial communication and plan, then follow up survey to ensure plan is sustainable. 

    - Leads and participates in special projects as directed. 

    - Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested/needed. 

    - Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures. 

    - Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

      Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's Degree Healthcare related or management curriculum And 2+ years healthcare, preferably with Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation Standards.
