Clinical Imaging Administrator (Senior, Analyst or Associate)

Summary:

Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator

The Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator is responsible for management of the clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity and day-to-day support of the end-users of the various radiology and cardiology Imaging systems. This role will also support the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Image exchange systems. The Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator will be primarily assigned to one of Penn Medicine facilities supporting the end users on the various clinical imagining systems. The expectation is that a Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator would be a subject matter expert in at least one of our Clinical image systems. It is expected that a Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator is also able to work independently, without the needs for a lot of direct onsite supervision.

Clinical Imaging Administrator

The Clinical Imaging Administrator is responsible for management of the clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity and day-to-day support of the end-users of the various radiology and cardiology Imaging systems. This role will also support the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Image exchange systems. The Clinical Imaging Administrator will be primarily assigned to one of Penn Medicine facilities supporting the end users of various clinical imagining systems.

Associate Imaging Administrator

The Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator is responsible for management of the clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity and day-to-day support of the end-users of the various radiology and cardiology Imaging systems. This role will also support the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Image exchange systems. The Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator will be primarily assigned to one of Penn Medicine facilities supporting the end users of various clinical imagining systems.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Senior Clinical Imaging Administrator

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years experience working in the imaging field such as a Healthcare vendor or in a hospital’s Radiology, Cardiology or IT department or relevant Radiology Clinical Experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting, depending on what the situation requires.
  • Several years of experience working with a PACS or CPACS system required.
  • Experience with any large vendor PACS or CPACS system required.
  • Familiarity with Sectra PACS or GE CPACS, or Syngo CPACs, networking and Radiology or Cardiology modalities, DICOM preferred.
  • Experience with VNA (ie Mach7) imaging archive preferred.
  • Experience with LifeImage or other system used to upload and exchange outside images preferred.
  • Experience working in a clinical imaging environment preferred.
  • Experience with Sectra PACS preferred.
  • Experience with Syngo CPACS or GE CPACS preferred.
  • Experience working in a clinical imaging environment preferred.

Clinical Imaging Administrator

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree required.
  • 2+ years relevant Radiology Clinical Experience required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personal skill sets required.
  • Work independently and as a team player required.
  • Familiarity with Sectra PACS, GE CPACS, Syngo PACs or McKesson CPACs as well knowledge of networking and Radiology or Cardiology modalities, Dicom preferred.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Experience with Mach7 imaging archive preferred.
  • Experience with LifeImage or other system used to upload and exchange outside images preferred.
  • Experience working in a clinical imaging environment preferred.

Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator

  • Associate's Degree required, preferably in Healthcare or computer science.
  • 1+ year IS experience required, preferably in healthcare.
  • 0-1 years relevant Radiology Clinical Experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting, depending on what the situation requires preferred.
  • Experience working with Clinical imaging system. Familiarity with Sectra PACS, GE CPACS, Syngo CPACs or McKesson CPACs as well knowledge of networking and Radiology or Cardiology modalities, Dicom preferred.
  • Knowledge of Radiology or Cardiology modalities and/or knowledge of Dicom preferred.
