HR Coordinator, PAH

Full Time, 37.5 hours/week

Summary:

  • Assists the Chief Human Resources Office and the Human Resources staff in providing human resources support to entity. Serves as the point of contact for general human resource inquiries. Partners with Human Resources team on recognition programs and serves as New Employee Orientation coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as primary point of contact for Human Resources. Greets all visitors to the department and handles and triages all calls.
  • Coordinates New Employee Orientation. Primary contact for recognition events such as the years of service event, Hubschman Award, Meet the CEO Roundtable and other recognition and/or retention related events. Provides general onboarding assistance and process new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and correspondence. Responds to request for information and coordinates with Employee Records as needed.
  • Assists with basic recruitment functions such as candidate sourcing under the direction of the CHRO and Recruiter.
  • Assists with regulatory process. Monitors and maintains employee files in accordance with UPHS polices and regulatory agency standards. Follows up directly with managers and employees regarding non-compliance. Works collaboratively with corporate compliance as needed.
  • Process invoices and assists with other budgetary responsibilities. Orders office supplies.
  • Coordinates entity policies in conjunction with corporate human resources. Responsible for tracking expirations and prepares polices for signature for CHRO and CEO.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all human resources scheduling. Secures conference rooms, catering, and maintains correspondence related to meetings and events. Maintains CHRO calendar. Point of contact for email correspondence along with the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Assists with Special Projects.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the entity and health system organization.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years Administrative experience required, preferably in healthcare or human resources setting.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate with internal and external constituents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Must be attentive to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to problem solve. Strong listening skills.
  • Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities/multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
  • Able to manage programs and projects with little direction.
  • Experience with DreamWeaver software preferred.
