  • The Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) within PPMC Cardiology assists the manager and/or physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus, supports the delivery of high-quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets. This Coordinator spends a third of their time managing an inpatient census list, coordinating the TAVR and TIER procedure programs, and providing administrative support to three physicians.


  • Manages an inpatient Census list.
  • Participate in daily 7:30am meeting to add and remove patients as needed.
  • Gather data on patients for statistical metrics.
  • Coordinates and schedules TAVR consultations.
  • Coordinate and schedule TIER consultations.
  • Provide administrative support to 3-4 physicians.
  • Obtain and manage outside and internal medical records
  • Learns/anticipates the individual patient/customer need(s) and does the best possible job of satisfying those needs using the best solutions that are responsive to those need(s). Documents needs, as appropriate, in EPIC.
  • Assists in answering patient phone line.
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Assists in credentialing and re-credentialing process.
  • Schedules new patient visits.


Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • High School diploma.
  • 3-5 Years of Medical Office Experience
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Hours are 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
