The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations for the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division, specifically, Penn Fertility Care, in collaboration with the Sr. Clinical Manger.

The Clinical Coordinator ensures compliance with TJC, CMS and DOH requirements across all practice locations. The Clinical Coordinator oversees

infection control standards in the practice are upheld and participates in EOC rounding in the practice. The Clinical

Coordinator will participate in the development and communication of clinical workflows and processes, assist with the implementation and auditing of quality related projects, assist with coverage plans for unexpected needs and act as the subject matter expert for clinical questions and EHR optimization. The Clinical Coordinator will assist with hiring, onboarding and enhancement of orientation

for new clinical staff, complete clinical competencies and evaluations. The Clinical Coordinator will be required to provide support and travel to three clinical practice site locations with an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule following a successful probationary period.

The responsibilities of this position include coordination of all operational activities within and operating room setting including, but not limited to, the development and management of all aspects of patient care, utilization of departmental personnel, fiscal responsibility and material resources. This role will establish oneself as the leader as it relates to patients, families, staff and physicians within the domains of clinical judgment, communication, quality, performance improvement and fiscal management.


  • Participates in clinical care as necessary.
  • Assumes overall accountability for their area of responsibility. Delegate‚Äôs responsibility to others, in their absence.
  • Maintains positive and effective interpersonal relations with all members of the perioperative team; including but not limited to all levels of physician surgical staff, ancillary departments, hospital/facility administration and all ancillary departments.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities in problem solving, setting priorities and clinical excellence.
  • Collaborates with nursing leadership and provides tangible feedback concerning staff performance.
  • Supports the shared governance model.
  • Designs and implements actions to maintain fiscal responsibility of their clinical area of responsibility and the overall Operating Room operation.
  • Is proactive to assure all required items (implants, supplies, and personnel) are in place prior to the scheduled operative case.
  • Identifies scheduling conflicts and resolves proactively.


  • Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
  • Nursing CARP level II or equivalent years of experience required.
