Job Summary:

  • Provides assigned management, direction and support relating to Radiology functions, including but not limited to equipment management to and from Radiology; procedure preparation; inventory management of all radiology sections and replenishment of supplies, case cart picking. 
  • Manages the supply chain process and personnel for Radiology Services. 
  • Responsible for compliance including consistent application of hospital policies and practices among all Radiology Clinical staff. 
  • As a member of Radiology Senior leadership provides leadership and direction. 
  • Provides 24/7 accessibility via cell phone for operational issues.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Radiology Services, purchasing services, etc. 
    • Supervisory experience preferred. 

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Position requires initiative, independent follow-through, and flexibility. 
    • Must pay close attention to detail. Must have highly developed analytical, organizational and decision-making abilities. 
    • Must be capable of motivating staff. 
    • Must posses’ effective communication skills, verbal and written. 
    • Must maintain effective working relationships with Radiology Administration, Materials Management, Purchasing, Operations and Maintenance. 
    • Must be able to interact closely with physicians, nurses, radiographers, and other staff.
    • Must have a working knowledge of the following computer applications: Microsoft Outlook and Word.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
