The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Central Receiving is a seeking a
1st shift, full-time Process Technician.

Position Description:

  • Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Receiving all specimens into the laboratory
  • Verifying arrival and proper transport
  • Monitoring and evaluating all necessary QC, QA and repair records required by accreditation agencies
  • Performing specimen processing in an efficient manner
  • Assuring work flows and test turnaround time within in the established limits for stat and routine specimens

Minimum Requirements:

  • Please apply if you possess these qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • Medical Information Systems and healthcare experience preferred
  • Working every other weekend is required
