Department: Laundry - Linen

Location: Philadelphia

Summary:

Responsible for the preparation and distribution of linen supplies throughout the hospital. The accurate and timely restocking of assigned areas, also the collection of soiled linen and equipment. Maintains an orderly work environment. Accurate recording of completed duties and communication of problems to management.

Shift: 11pm-7am Monday and Friday and every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

Breakdown full pallets of supply, bring linen to work area, assemble linen packs and carts, deliver linen packs and/or patient linen to assigned areas. Return excess supply and equipment to designated areas. Remove soiled linen from designated areas, weigh and stage for pick-up.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations.
