Summary:
- Provide a supply of clean, disinfected linens for use. Contribute to the team efforts and showing good customer interactions, and professionalism for customers, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact with.
Responsibilities:
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail.
- Collects, cleans and redistributes the laundry.
- Properly sorts, washes and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures.
- Transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
- Folds, counts and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
- Routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.
- Maintains the laundry rooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- 0-1 years related experience preferred.
