Summary:
- Performs Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Basic Quality Assurance for Mammography units and processor.
Responsibilities:
- Performs quality diagnostics images for radiologist interpretation.
- Performs needle localization.
- Performs stereotactic breast biopsies, screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- Monitors and maintains equipment.
- Assists with maintaining records per department protocols and State, Federal and MQSA regulatory requirements.
Credentials:
- Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
- Radiologic Technologist (Required)
- Mammography Certification preferred (must obtain Mammography Certification within the first six months of hire)
- BLS Certification with in the first six months of hire date
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- High school or GED graduate
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology Technology
