Exciting opportunity to join the Penn Presbyterian Hospitalist group as it expands in capacity!


Seeking motivated full time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our group of 9 Advanced Practice Providers who work closely with Hospitalist attendings. Responsibilities include caring for two subsets of patients: inpatients who have been admitted and stabilized, and Observation patients who are admitted to the service from the Emergency Department. The APP will ensure appropriate care, patient education and continuity of care upon discharge. The APP will work in close collaboration with their fellow advanced practice providers, Hospitalist attendings, consultants and other ancillary staff to manage their care and safely hand-off patients when appropriate. The qualified candidate must be an Acute Care Certified Adult CRNP or PA-C with a Masters. Candidates must be licensed as a CRNP or PA-C in Pennsylvania and must have current ACLS certification. Prior to employment, the APP must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.

Will be working 7 shifts per 2 week pay period which consists of mostly day shifts (10 hour) with shared responsibility of evening, nights, and weekends.
