The Women's Health APP will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team; performing physical exams, collecting and documenting data, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing appropriate interventions and medications, and providing education to patients and their families.
The Women’s Health Provider works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes for this select group of patients and contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and provides leadership in the organization.
Hours of work determined by the Clinical Service to meet the needs of patient care. includes day, night shifts, weekends and holidays. This emergency department provides care to patients 24/7.
Minimum Requirements: Licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, M.S.N, and national certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant and/or nurse midwife.
