Hospital of University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Nursing Clinical Coordinator with Endoscopy.
This position supports Nurse Mangers and Clinical Director in Perioperative Services by appropriately assigning staff to procedural rooms where they will provide safe care to the GI and Pulmonary populations. This role is responsible for coordinating the daily schedules and activities of both the inpatient and outpatient environments as well as appropriately assigning staff to the Prep and Recovery area of the outpatient suite. In this role, the coordinator will maintain positive and effective interpersonal relations with all members of the endoscopy team; including but not limited to all levels of physician staff, hospital administration and all ancillary departments. This individual will exhibit leadership qualities in problem solving, strong communication skills, setting priorities and clinical excellence while insuring efficient and effective operations through compliance with institutional and regulatory policies and procedures. A high regard for confidentiality and maintaining patient safety is essential. Providing Service Recovery is also a necessary function of this role. Demonstrates the importance of Magnet Standards and supports the unit in meeting these standards. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Endoscopy procedures and the patients we serve.
