Ambulatory Nurse II - Hybridg Cancer Center West Chester Clinic

As a valued member of the healthcare team, the Ambulatory Nurse II plays a crucial role in providing top-notch care to patients. Collaborating and communicating across multiple teams, the Ambulatory RN II assists a dedicated team of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in delivering healthcare services at the Abramson Cancer Center clinic.

The daily responsibilities of this position include telephone triage for a fast-paced, high-volume hematology/oncology practice, care coordination and symptom management of hematology/oncology patients as well as providing patient education. The Ambulatory RN II works closely with physicians and nurse practitioners to aid in disease-state management. The ideal candidate will have prior triage experience.

Punctuality and attendance are of utmost importance given the immunocompromised patient population. COVID vaccinations are mandatory. This position is based out of our West Chester Office, although a hybrid model will be offered after sufficient orientation. Preferred hours are M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; no evenings, no weekends.

• The Ambulatory Nurse II Colleague independently provides patient care through the application of the nursing process and accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients. Assigned patients may range in age from infancy to the elderly. • The Ambulatory Nurse II Colleague works closely with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
