Summary:

  • The Associate Director, Physician Alignment will oversee the daily administrative and technical functions of practice implementations and contractual and programmatic alignment initiatives and will provide oversight and planning for future alignment projects. He or She will facilitate the development and implementation of strategies and processes to drive growth, execute alignment plans as well as promote and raise the profile of Penn Primary Care and Penn Specialty Practices and PMMG brand equity. He or She will ensure effective and regular communication with all stakeholders as well as develop the process and documentation to reflect how different alignment models are onboarded and maintained in a manner that promotes patient, employee, and physician satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and provides oversight to the integration of Primary and Specialty Care practices into the long-term operations structure (integration and transition of EMR, ancillary systems, operations, supplies management, staffing, space, marketing, compliance, credentialing/enrollment, training, etc.)
  • Coordinates, collaborates, and communicates across multi-functional teams and resources to manage and execute alignment initiatives. Partners with representatives including, but not limited to, service lines, hospital entities, departments, marketing, finance, recruitment, operations, compliance, managed care, credentialing/enrollment, human resources, and information services.
  • Assists with program development expansion for Penn Primary Care and Penn Specialty Practices. Participates in the process of identifying expansion opportunities and collating due diligence analysis; develops gap analysis and integration steps/plan in collaboration with physicians/chairs/departments/service lines/business development/hospital entities.
  • Manages and supports Community Connect and Penn Specialty Network (PSN) projects and ongoing relationships. Determines scope and size of the project, as well as translates client needs/challenges into working solutions. Serves as ongoing operational support by providing an escalation path for Community Connect clients.
  • Participates in the due diligence evaluation process for potential integration and alignment initiatives by informing the Business Development team on overall viability from a systems and operations perspective.
  • Provides referral/alignment development support for Operations and Marketing
  • Develops standardized tools and communication templates for alignment initiatives that can be centrally stored

Credentials:

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
    • healthcare administration or related field 5+ years experience managing projects or large-scale initiatives with demonstrated increase in responsibility and project complexity
    • Master of Arts or Science
