The Manager HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) manages and oversees daily operations of the HRIS team while providing critical insight and support to the IS leadership, in regard to Human Capital Management (HCM) strategy and participates on HCM implementation/change management teams as needed. This position requires full working knowledge of current processes, procedures, programs and interfaces, as well as various initiatives in support of organizational needs and challenges. This position is accountable for accurate and complete resolution of elevated and/or sensitive issues in a confidential manner. The Manager records/reports appropriate operational metrics to identify trends, issues and individual and team productivity levels. Accountabilities

In collaboration with IS leadership, leads and supports the strategic planning, development, and implementation of HRIS/HCM technology.Manages the daily operations of the HRIS/HCM team including workload balance, timely auditing and processing of data, use of established processes and protocol and staff training and education.Maintains data integrity/organizational structure in support of operational needs.Ensures timely service recovery, root cause analysis, and process changes, as needed.Monitor service tickets to ensure service level commitments, quality, consistency.Develop/adhere to project plans/deadlines. Adheres to established deadlines and other time constraints within/outside of department.Employs composite knowledge/timing of varied programs, interfaces, procedures, dashboards, and up/downstream impacts.Uses metrics to identify accuracy, trends, issues, and individual productivity.Maintains documentation/historical information regarding process, procedure and program development (i.e. program specifications, decision points, etc.), as appropriate.Complies with various HR area, agency, regulatory and auditing requests.Remains current with HRIS/HCM trends.Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and proceduresOther duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization Bachelor's Degree is required (Master’s Preferred)5+ years of experience in a related area (IS, HR Operations) with a minimum of 3 of those years in HRIS supervisory experience is requiredTECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft AccessTECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft ExcelTECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft WordTECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Power PointCOMMUNICATION: Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skillsCOMMUNICATION: Demonstrated customer service skillsAbility to build and lead high performing teams in a high volume environmentThis position is for a second HRIS manager, with both managers reporting into the director over HRIS. The manager for this position will manage the four person HRIS support team, managing the HRIS Service Desk ticket queue, as well as act as a Senior Application Analyst for enhancements, projects, and other initiatives… as time permits.Experience with Infor GHR is a strong plus.Experience with Kronos/UKG desirable.Health system experience desirable.

Minimum Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree is required (Master’s Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a related area (IS, HR Operations) with a minimum of 3 of those years in HRIS supervisory experience is required
