Pennsylvania Hospital is looking for a PRN Lab Trainee to join the team! This is a training level position, and the trainee has the appropriate educational background to perform laboratory procedures according to established and approved protocols. These tests are performed directly under the supervision of a technologist, or supervisor. The trainee may perform laboratory procedures across the major areas of the laboratory, or concentrate activity in one such area such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, or Central Specimen Processing.

Credentials:

  • Current enrollment in the School of Medical Technology Program at PAH which is a NAACLS-accredited college or university. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical lab tests and specimen test requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, preferred. Experience with Cerner Millennium preferred.
