ACNP and PA-C position caring for Neurosurgery Stepdown and Floor patients.
There is an opportunity to work with the Department of Neurosurgery as an ACNP or PA-C caring for our stepdown and floor patients. The role is to provide advanced provider practice care in collaboration with the Neurosurgical team. The provider will direct the clinical management of the critically ill and injured patients, brain tumor, vascular abnormalities, and spine patients. The provider’s practice with a high level of autonomy and expert skill in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the Neurosurgery patients. As part of their professional role, they integrate education, research, leadership, and consultation into their clinical practice. The ACNP or PA-C will demonstrate this through nursing and resident education, participation in the division’s research mission and projects, hospital committee membership and leadership, and providing continuity of care for hospital staff, patients, and their families. Full time position: six 13hr shifts in a two week period. There is a required 50/50 day/nights rotation and 1weekend per month.
Qualifications:
ACNP or PA-C. Current licensure or eligible in the Commonwealth of PA. Eligible for credentialing by the medical board.
