Summary:
- Role has multiple responsibilities- Delivering staged items from Storeroom/Receiving to nursing units, offices, ancillary areas. Pulls product based on requisitions entered by Supply Services Rep and stages it for pick-up and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor requisitions as they flow to storeroom and fill with prioritized delivery based on urgency.
- Report any issues with regard to storeroom labeling, storage of supplies, and/or potential for increased efficiencies to Logistics Team Leader or Logistics Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring the storeroom’s cleanliness on a daily basis.
- Pack and ship orders ranging from returns to off-site deliveries.
- Works closely with distribution specialists to stage products for departmental delivery.
- Maintains appropriate supplies for shipping, receiving, distribution (i.e. boxes, packing tape, etc.).
- Accept shipments and enter receipt data into MMIS system.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries on the receiving dock and assist in transporting as necessary.
- Maintain an orderly and safe work environment (removing boxes and packing materials , shifting shipments, consolidating boxes, and assorted odd jobs).
- Keep accurate records by filing and packing lists and signed receiving documents daily.
- Cycle count storeroom daily in accordance with schedule provided by Inventory Coordinator and/or Logistics Manager.
- Transact requisitions as necessary in Lawson MMIS.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
Two to four years of previous work experience in materials management or similar - preferred
