  • The Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing all modes of vascular studies, providing physicians with verbal/preliminary reports, conducting daily cleaning/maintenance of machines and scanning areas, assisting in keeping supplies well stocked, providing patient care in a compassionate manner.


  • Conducts ultrasound testing, both in the lab and portable testing.
  • Assists in machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Assists in keeping patients aware of their study and/or transport status.
  • Assists in helping to keep other technologists aware of patient needs.


  • Must obtain RVT credentials/ARDMS registration within one year of date of hire. required.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Associate of Arts or Science
  • Ultrasonography
  • Other (Required)
  • Accredited Ultrasonography Program Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program is required. Must be able to perform all noninvasive arterial, venous, carotid and abdominal aorta testing. Vascular internship required. Renal, Mesenteric and Hepatic/Portal vascular duplex as well as transcranial Doppler experience preferred. One year hospital or vascular lab experience preferred.
