The Department of PeriOp Purch Sec at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Full-time Materials Service Partner II;
Summary:
- Responsible for monitoring logging, reporting and verifying need for all visitors/vendors for PeriOperative Services. Monitor, log and document all issue related to broken equipment and Physical plant in PeriOperative Services. Responsible for core reconstruction. Update and create all pick lists. Also responsible for maintaining inventory for the OR, Endoscopy and instrument processing.
Responsibilities:
- Displays adequate communication skills with periop staff, supervisor and others
- Demonstrates courtesy and respect for patients, visitors and employees to fulfill service mission
- Modifies behavior or work schedule when necessary to achieve department goals.
- Acts on the basis of our thoughts and experience to overcome obstacles and to cause positive outcomes.
- Creates a favorable impression on others by displaying competence and confidence and by commanding respect and attention.
- Manage Pick list system (fox pro).
- Communicate with clinical engineering all equipment issues
- Communicate with Physical Plant all issues.
- Manages nonstock inventory and replenishment.
- Manages core reconstruction.
- Carry’s facilitator phone to respond to any immediate issues.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
- Experience in inventory and stocking are (Preferred)
- Previous experience in a patient care setting (Preferred)
